What a weekend...

Last weekend was really a hectic, fun-filled and exciting one. 2 hunts on 1 weekend. I thought I could cope with that since I am not really cut for that yet. But by Sunday night, I was totally KOed. Trying to catch up with the Budget 2008 news in the papers, I practically slept with the newspaper that night hahaha...

Let's start with Saturday, Bangsar walk hunt. My sis, Kim from Penang was supposed to join us for this hunt. But unfortunately she arrived after the hunt was over. Her train from Penang was supposed to take off at 10 pm on Friday night but it was delayed due to flood at some parts of the tracks. So her journey to KL took around 12 hours. So our team was left with 3 persons and surprisingly we finished second. Couldn't believe it but was really happy. After the Q & A and results announcement. I rushed back to catch some rest before heading to Cyberjaya for the Cyberjaya Merdeka Hunt (Novice) hunt briefing.

Together with my sis, we went to pick up one of my team mates on the way at Pusat Bandar Puchong and I kept missing the turn to get to her place. Instead after missing 2 turns, I decided to use the route towards the Giant at Bandar Puteri. At last, I managed to find her place and we were on our way to Kelab Tasik Cyberjaya for the briefing. The other team mate was still sleeping as she was on night shift the day before, so trying to catch up with some sleep before the Sunday's hunt.

As we were still new, I was the driver, my sis hunting for the second time and my team mate was the navigator for the first time, we were trying to help each other how to read the tulips correctly. After sorting out our doubts on tulip reading we decided to search for the other team mate's place so that we would not have to figure out how to get there on hunt day.

Hunt day, had to wake up so early. This is worst than going to work in the morning hahaha... The whole team was feeling rather sleepy before flag off. But the minute the Questions and Tulips were distributed, all of us were wide awake and ready to go. All of us were so excited trying looking at the signboard and reading out the signboards aloud. It was a pleasant atmosphere in the car where we practically were having fun and laughing trying to help each other. I felt our team had very good team work, everyone tried to help whenever they can and we try to minimized the number of times we need to stop and get down from the car to save time. We finished a surprising 11th position despite making so many errors.
